Dr. Juliet Nimako is a board certified family medicine physician who relocated from Michigan to Georgia early in 2008 and subsequently joined the practice of Harper and Associates Family Medicine.
She began her premedical education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she graduated with honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in 1998. She then obtained a doctor of medicine degree in 2002 at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, MI. After receiving her medical doctor degree she continued on to a residency program in family practice at Oakwoood Healthcare Center in Michigan.
In 2005 she received her board certification in family medicine. She then practiced for several years in Michigan before relocating to the Atlanta metro area.
Dr. Nimako is excited about her move to Georgia and is looking forward to getting involved in the community and developing an active patient base. She enjoys taking care of the whole family and has a special interest in women’s health and adolescent healthcare. Currently she has an affiliation with Dekalb Medical Hospital. She also has an active membership in the American Academy of Family Physicians, Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association and the National Medical Association.
